The Philippines, being a country archipelago of islands and seas, have naturally wonderful beaches, some of which are famous the world over.Beaches like Puerto Galera, Boracay, and the various beaches in Cebu rake in tourists from around the world all year round because of their pristine and cool blue waters and fine, white-sand shores.
It is a rather big island, with an area size of about 1.1057 hectares.
Kalmar's biggest cycle event has races for both the elite and ordinary cycling enthusiasts.
And from 2017, the road race has been granted international UCI status. Kalmar City Festival is a popular tradition that started back in 2005.
For three days, Kalmar's streets and squares are filled with concerts, dance performances, street theater, shows and competitions - activities of all kinds. Music genres ranging from pop and dance to blues, rock and rockabilly. Here the participants first swim 520 m, then they cycle 18 km and finally run 4.2 km to the finish line.
The sixth Ironman Kalmar will be held on August 19th.
