Bill had his moments; I recall one time when Laurie was arguing with a female caller and Bill was muttering something about 'ovarian lunacy' in the background.But it soon became obvious that we needed to make a change before Bill moved his family to Maryland.In 1987, former WAKY PD Bob Moody asked Bill to join him at WPOC in Baltimore, where Moody was PD.
Bill returned to Louisville and joined WAKY in 1970, where he ruled the morning roost there through 1981.
